Pain after immunizations can occur and it varies.  Usually, the pain we see after an immunization is kind of a knotty pain.  It can be a tightness or a tension, but usually that's all there is.  If you get pain and swelling, and you get erythema, then we start to worry about other issues.  That kind of pain after immunization has to be taken quite seriously and it also needs to be looked at, potentially, by your physician.
