Can allergies increase your blood pressure? Well, it isn’t really that the allergies increase the blood pressure as much as the fact that people who are prone to high blood pressure often take medications because of the allergy. When they take the medication, it is the medication that actually raises the blood pressure. The thing you have to realize is blood pressure can be variable, but different drugs can cause situations which lead to the difficulty. I often recommend to people that they check and see the allergy medicine to see if it’s one that raises pressure.
