There is a term that children are just ‘little adults.’ Certainly there is some truth to that, but when it comes to medication, when it comes to medical care over all, they’re not just little adults. Children actually do have to be treated very differently, and they often have to be treated in a way completely different than adults. Different dosages, different processes of disease, and most importantly, different ways the body reacts are all associated with children. Please, just don’t consider them little adults.
