Stress is a major issue in this country, and believe it or not, it’s becoming a growing issue among our young children. Stress is a problem because children are putting more pressure on themselves. They’re getting pressure from adults, pressure from society, and as a result, they feel and internalize the stress. The stress can lead to a great deal of pressure, and the pressure can be overwhelming. The way you need to deal with your child with stress is to constantly be there as a support and let them know that although there are stresses, you can deal with them, but don’t let them become overwhelming.
